ORIGINAL CITY PATTERN TEES!

The first release is an apparel offering. Each shirt is hand-printed to produce that one-of-a-kind feel. The outline of the city of Detroit is used to create a pattern by reflecting and flipping the shape that the city outline creates. And POOF! There it is. That's the secret. So no, it's not just an ode to Space Invaders, there is some calculated purpose in the design.

The print is done on American Apparel garments and available in four colors to keep your closet awfully fresh and pleasant: Slate Gray, Fuschia, Light Acqua Blue or Mint Green. Roll your cursor over each image of the shirts to see a close up in the pane on the left side.

SINGING TEES!

La-la-laaa-laaa. Oh sorry, just singing to myself. There's lots to sing about. Birds, planes, heartbreak, love, friends... or, heck, Detroit. Sing a song, a happy one, and wear this shirt while you do it. Probably good for you, your neighbors and even your friends. Good for Detroit, too. Yep.

This shirt also features the outline of the city in a different context with a Motown-era rendering of our dear friend singing. This design also available printed on Slate Gray, Fuschia, Light Acqua Blue or Mint Green. Roll the cursor over each design to see a closeup. And keep singing!

Central Depot Installment Prints!

Will the Central Train Depot be saved? At the forefront of debate in Detroit is the future of the Michigan Central Train Depot-- the world's tallest train station when it was built in 1913. The last train pulled out of the station in 1988 and it has been left sitting since. Now, City Council in Detroit and owner Matty Moroun are debating its future. Will it be demolished? Will petitioners save the building for future generations to see? If it's saved, what will it become?

Using four human feet and scrap metal laying in the main hall of the train station, DETROIT LIVES! was etched and arranged on top of the freshly fallen snow. From a distance three stories up, the message was clearly visible for many to see. Three months later, the snow obviously gone, the metal is still arranged to form the word LIVES!

You be the judge.
